Citrix Virtualisation

Citrix Xen technology is the best and most coherent overall solution on the market for application, server and desktop virtualisation. Many deployments however fail to deliver on their stated aims, causing frustration with areas like performance, user experience (e.g. 'lag'), printing and profile issues. From assessment of your current systems to fast delivery of a working solution or just remedial maintenance to make your Citrix investment do what its supposed to, we have the answers in the Xen and broader Citrix portfolio.

Data Centre Services

We have many years experience in providing Virtualisation, co-location and hosted solutions in a Data Centre environment. All our own systems and many of our customer infrastructures are deployed in our secure server racks in the ISO 20000 accredited BT Data Centre in Belfast.

LAN/WAN Expertise

Computer networks become more complex as they evolve, with new services and voice/data convergence adding to the strain on available bandwidth. DataCore SAN Technology

SANs and virtualisation go hand-in-hand - especially where a High Availability, DR, or VM mobility requirement is present. Traditionally a hardware SAN has been the preference, however as virtualisation alone can be expensive, the sheer cost of a SAN/Virtualisation project can slow the adoption of the technology.
DataCore offers an attractive alternative: It is a software (virtual) SAN solution which has the following advantages over a hardware SAN:

1. The capital deployment cost is much less than a comparable hardware SAN per terabyte (TB)
2. The running costs are lower (no need for specialist SAN hardware support and typically much less power usage than hardware SAN)
3. The cost of expanding the SAN storage space per TB is considerably less
4. The SAN technology is vendor and hardware independant, resulting in no expensive technology lock-ins (storage devices can be a mixture of IBM, EMC, HP, DELL, etc)
5. The default functionality supplied is typically much greater than hardware SANs (thin provisioning, mirroring, HA, etc)
6. Performance is comparable or better than hardware SANs

Websense Content Filtering

Websense is the product of choice for managing users Internet experience, filtering unwanted, unauthorised or unlawful web content and ensuring it never reaches the end user. It also provides real-time tracking by user name and historical reporting. We deploy and manager Websense filtering solutions for organisations who need to ensure the web is being used correctly by their user base.

Our proposition also includes the experience to use a single websense server for an organisation whose user base is located over multiple sites with many Internet connections.

VoIP Systems

Vendor interoperability is one of the most difficult things to achieve when phasing VoIP components into your network. This is an area where we have particular expertise so that you can move slowly to VoIP without needing to replace your existing phone system and PBX in one fell swoop.
